Floating Suction Units are used within storage tanks for petrochemical, chemical & aviation products. It is suspended by the surface of the product, the suction inlet is held in the clean dense product all time, regardless of the constantly changing liquid level. Contamination dirt, sediments, solid particles and heavy fluids remain on the tank bottom. This ensures constant product quality, independent from liquid level. Once installed in the storage tank the FSU is working trouble free without the requirement of any maintenance work. A visual check and possible maintenance will be done during the tank inspection.
